The Classic Car Show is held every year in London in the wonderful location of the Alexandra Palace. It is easy to be reached from the city centre via underground and bus.
Alexandra Palace exhibition hall is wonderful: it is used for different purposes, including music and the organ is really outstanding.

The environment is fascinating: the very old building is on the top of a hill, surrounded by a nice park and the landscape is wonderful.
Comparing this event with the Retromobile of Paris or even with the Automotoretro of Torino, that I also attended this year, I should say that it is a relatively smaller event, with fewer cars, mostly English, but with a huge flea market where it is possible to find spare parts and tools, books and car models.
Below are a few of the Italian and French cars which were featured at the event.
Alpine A110 of 1975 with a Gordini 1.3 litres engine.

A Fiat 124 berlina of the 70s. These great sedans are very hard to find today.
|
A very old Fiat 500 with an improbable azure colour, but still with the original Italian plates.
|
Fiat 500C (Topolino) of 1954: the engine has a 570cc capacity and 17 bhp. The oil bottle on the right is probably not original but very handy.
|
This Lamborghini was built in 1968 with a white body: then in 1970 went back to the factory where its color was changed to green and was updated to S specifications, including the A/C system.
|
A very nice Fiat Ritmo Abarth 105TC of 1982 with the 105bhp engine. The name "Strada" was used in the English speaking countries where “Ritmo” was difficult to be pronounced.
