VeloceToday Teams with
Concorso Italiano

Concorso Italiano and VeloceToday today announces an interactive partnership, providing enhanced electronic media benefits for both organizations as well as their respective audiences.

Concorso Italiano attracts the best of the rare: This the Dino Prototype which was shown at the 2002 event.

The world famous car event will advertise with VeloceToday's weekly online magazine, and benefit from VeloceToday's Italian car-oriented content for the Concorso Italiano broadcast emails. “It"s a small but important step toward making fuller use of digital media techniques, and we hope that it will lead to unique applications in the near future,” said Pete Vack, Editor of VeloceToday.

It is the most natural of arrangements.

Concorso Italiano is the largest, most important Italian car event in the United States, perhaps in the world. Since its inception in 1985, Concorso Italiano has attracted the most highly prized, rarest, and varied selection of pristine classic Italian vehicles. It has grown from strength to strength, leveraging its enviable timing with the Monterey Historics and Pebble Beach to become the crown jewel of Italian car events.

VeloceToday, now in its fifth year of publication, is the most popular and widely-read online periodical devoted to Italian cars. Jack Wadsworth, Chairman of Concorso Italiano, thinks the timing is right. “VeloceToday has established itself as a leader in the field of online Italian car publications. The scope, intent, overall audience and indeed, some goals are shared concurrently by VeloceToday and Concorso Italiano.”

“It is important to realize that Concorso Italiano is not simply an extravagant event, but one which brings favorable world-wide attention to our pastime of Italian cars“, says Vack. “Concorso Italiano consistently demonstrates the beauty and individuality of Italian cars, at the right place and the right time. We should all be proud of the significant achievements of CI which have brought increased respect and popularity to our passion.”

For the two to combine resources is not only welcome but it is hoped that such efforts will help unite the community of Italian car owners, and be of benefit to the people who support both efforts.
