Over four hundred and fifty cars and drivers from across Australia, New Zealand, the UK and Germany descended on the Phillip Island circuit, south of Melbourne, to help the Victorian Historic Racing Register celebrate their 30th Classic Festival of Motorsport. Big, often heavy, fast, streamlined, but always well built, German classics are in many cases the obverse of Italian automobiles of the same era. But look what we are missing when we concentrate only on French and Italian cars.

A good time was had by all for Enzo’s birthday at the Petersen on February 17th, especially with a break in the rain.
Somebody must have switched Los Angeles’ weather for Seattle because the normally sunny city had a few weeks of intermittent rains. The Ferrari Club of America Southwest Region were worried they would get rained out in their annual birthday celebration for Enzo Ferrari at the famed Petersen museum. Read Adelaide Part 1
Adelaide Motorsport Festival 28 Nov – 2 Dec 2018— Saturday morning saw the Rally cars head up to Mt Lofty, highest point in the hills behind the city, for the first of the final day’s 10 stages. Back in town the Victoria Park Sprint circuit was alive all day. While each of the fifteen sprint categories was on the 1.5km lap chasing class wins for fastest time, the next group was ready and waiting at track entry.
