The first round of the Ferrari Shell Historics opened at what was once called Moroso, and now the Palm Beach International Raceway. In addition to the race report, (See Part 1) here are more scenes from the lens of Richard Prince.
Drivers
Ed Davies in the Alfa Monza, S/N 2111042. Davies usually races a 250 SWB Berlinetta (2729 GT) or a 512 M (1024) in past years.
On the track, Davies jockeys the Monza, making use of all the cockpit space.
Jeff O’Neill continues to campaign his 250F Maserati, S/N 2527.
The 250F is reputed to be one of the most pleasurable race cars to drive–Jeff enjoys his outing.
Chris Cox behind the wheel of the 250TR S/N 0756, a bit less hairy than his normal mount, the 412 MI.
Tom Price opted for his Alfa Romeo 8C 2300 Touring Spider, S/N 2111033. Price raced the Alfa in place of the Maserati 200SI he usually races. (He raced the GTO and won his class in the Disc Group with that.)
Cox again aboard the Ferrari 412 MI.
Nick Colonna adjusts the mirror of his Maserati 200SI, S/N 2412.
