S. Scott Callan’s book Observations on Ferrari 1946-1966, The King’s Eyes is formidable, comprehensive and interesting. The key word is observations. Not quite opinions, based on seemingly well known facts, yet constituting at times a unique view of what would otherwise be a well-worn subject, like Ferrari. Callan’s in-depth history reminded us of a few historical facts we have missed or overlooked.
