After a great time in 2011, I went back to Goodwood this year. It must be the best history-of-motorsports event in the world. Event is SO well managed, so many things to see. This year we threw down big money for “hospitality” as this was the only way into the paddock. Got to get close to the cars! But the all day dining was grand, and right out the front of the “Mess Hall” was the front straight and great race viewing. Weekend before was Beaulieau and through the week we went to many great motor museums, even the Jag/Rover Heritage site. Can’t say enough. The Brits do it right!

My son Cannon and I attended for the first time. This has got to be the greatest “Show In The World”. We went on Steve Austin’s tour which included London & Goodwood. A private dinner at the Royal Automobile Club in London in the Seagrave room. (Fangio, Moss, Nuvarli have sat around the table). Visit to Alain D’Cadinat’s Mews garage in London. Then lunch and a visit to the Williams Formula 1 Factory.
