I must say that it is refreshing in the extreme to see photos and mention of the little cars. I know that Ferraris et al sell magazines, but it really does become a bit tedious. How many pictures of the same old do we want or need to see. Loved the pic of the BNC + Bentley as well as all the other lesser known things. Where are the Salmsons?

Did the Delage D6 get to the finish? That smoke looks ominous. Can you explain the reason for the slots in the front mudguards of the Talbot Lago T26GS? I saw the same feature on a 1939 Talbot Lago T150C at Prescott last weekend (and in it’s rear mudguards). Is it to allow tyre wear to be seen by the driver or to let mud squirt him straight in the eye?
