New Website for Abarths

November 13, 2018 By pete

Dear fellow Abarth/Zagato enthusiast:

We are proud to announce the release of a new website (www.abarth750GTforum.com) dedicated to the Fiat Abarth 750GT Zagato “Double Bubble”. (Photo above by Greg Birch) This upcoming year will be the 100th year of Zagato (1919-2019). With many other world-wide events scheduled to celebrate this mile stone, we felt that it would be a wonderful opportunity to announce and launch our project.

Our website is a collaboration between Mike Suszter and John Cuny with advice from Abarth enthusiasts, experts, and historians. The site is designed as a forum-based community website to gather/share historical information, be a resource for car enthusiasts/owners, and collect/display image documentation of each individual car by chassis number. We have compiled useful resources (articles, books, links, etc) and outlined some or the most significant automotive events throughout the world.

In addition, the member’s forum will be a great place to have general discussions, put your car’s photos on the gallery, discuss mechanical concerns, and submit your own articles or experiences for all to read. We also have a dedicated section to list parts for sale and parts wanted.

One hope in creating this community of Double Bubble owners/historians/mechanics/enthusiasts is to have a fun and safe place for you to share your experiences, pictures, stories, and advice. We encourage you to be active in sharing information as this will be the most important way to gather information on the marque. We will work hard to keep the site up to date and accurate.

The site is available through you desktop or laptop computers and tablets while a mobile version is accessible through your mobile device. There are some slight variations between the two versions but our intent is to allow you to access the resource with ease. We have tested the compatibility on many platforms and find that most work very smoothly but there is some variability with loading certain larger files so if you are experiencing these issues please be patient.

You are encouraged to forward/share this announcement with your friends, colleagues, and acquaintances as all are welcome.

Please come visit/join us and many other “Double Bubble” enthusiasts at: www.abarth750GTforum.com
