Le Belle Macchina d Italia Preview
Car and Driver to Film Three Day Event
Once again, Joe Corbacio has put together what promises to be an exciting, varied and thoroughly Italian event in the Poconos. Le Belle Macchina d’ Italia will be held on June 28th through June 30th. And again this year the venue will be the fabulous Skytop Lodge for the Concorso on the 28th, and the action shifts to Pocono International Raceway for the driving events on June 29th and 30th. It is a unique combination of show and go, and the largest three day Italian car event in the United States.
According to Corbacio, "Car & Driver TV will be coming in to shoot all 3 days of the event. We are going to do some special features for them, we're going to shut down the track and do an exclusive Enzo, F50, F40, 288 GTO session."

Which sounds to us like a perfect opportunity to get your car on TV — bring ANY Italian car to Le Belle Macchina and you will be welcome. Le Belle encourages owners of Panteras, Mangustas, Fiats of all kinds, Alfa Romeos, Lancias, Abarths to bring what they have and join the fun. No traffic hassles, no overcrowding, no pressure.
And there are always interesting guests. "Right now what is definite is that both Tom Tjaarda & Piero Rivolta will be attending," said Corbacio. Both Tjaarda and Rivolta have attended the event in the past and enjoy coming back. Rivolta will again bring the last Iso Rivolta, the Varedo prototype.

Panteras, De Tomasos, are abundant at Le Belle.

We’ve attended Le Belle Macchina for the past two years, and have enjoyed the event thoroughly, and particularly since the venue for the concours has
been moved to the Skytop Lodge, which is one of the most beautiful settings imaginable. On the weekend, it is a short and enjoyable trip to the Pocono Raceway, which is also a great place to visit, race, or just enjoy. Highly recommended!
