Paris Motor Show 2018

The annual Paris Motor Show aka Mondial De L’Auto in Paris was held from October 4 to the 14 at 1 Place de la Porte de Versailles, 75015 Paris, France. It is a huge event, as can be seen from the map below, with multiple features ranging from motorcycles to parts to displays of both new and classic cars. Some major manufacturers were missing, and there was much discussion of the new WLTP standards, electric cars and the death of the diesel. However, we shall remain focused on the classics.

One of the main features of this year’s show was a magical journey called the “Routes Mythiques” or Legendary Roads, which uses art and drawings to “share the emotions created by departures and journeys undertaken by automobile or motorcycle.” It provided an interesting setting for the classic cars. If you are familiar with Google Maps, you will enjoy this virtual tour of the Legendary Roads exhibit..click here.

Below, Alessandro Gerelli captures the cars of interest for VeloceToday readers.

The last foto is obviously a Renault as shown by it’s big logo up front.
