VeloceToday Correspondent
Alessandro Gerelli
Italy
Fifty four year old Alessandro is our most recent 'find'. An IT manager for Phillips, Alessandro is interested in flying, collecting
Ferrari literature, photography and art. The car bug bit at age 16, and he has owned Abarths, Lancia, including a Delta Integrale 16v, and a
Toyota MR2. His favorite car is a Ferrari 250GT Lusso.
While Alessandro has not previously been published, he has been taking race and car photos since he was in college
(see his evocative photography from his May 16th article: Monza, 1967).
From his home in Bresso, near Milan, Alessandro plans to attend a variety of events this year including the Oldtimer Nurburgring event,
and the Paris Motor Show. Even more interesting for readers of VeloceToday is his collection of vintage racing photos, taken during the
1980s, when the entry lists were filled with interesting and rare cars.
Alesandro's next article for VeloceToday will be a review of the cars of the Rivolta family, starting with the Mille Miglia eligible Isetta.
