VeloceToday Correspondent
Michitake Isobe - Japan
Another one of our earliest contributors, "Mitch" is a freelance translator and writer who often works around the clock due to time differences. At forty-nine, he hails from Yokohama, has his ear tuned to everything Italian in Japan, and has authored the book, Ferrari V-12 (Miki Press, 1998). When he's not thinking Italian, he enjoys photography, modern jazz, and "inexpensive wine". Mitch fell in love with Ferraris at age nine, and even at 4 years old was very aware of cars. He called an uncle "Buick-san" as the three buttons on the sleeve of his coat reminded the young car nut of the three portholes of the Buick sedan. Very modest, but very accomplished, Mitch has also written for Prancing Horse, and SuperCar Graphic, among other publications.
