VeloceToday Correspondent
Michael T. Lynch California USA
Living in La Jolla, near San Diego, Michael covers the West Coast for VeloceToday, or, as we beg him, anything he wants to write, whenever he wants to write. One of the most widely respected and read Ferrari historians, Michael's book, American Sports Car Racing in the 1950s, is a fantastic record of Maserati and Ferrari race efforts in the U. S. Lynch has contributed to Forza, SCI, Road & Track, Auto Capital, and Auto Classique. "Perhaps more important, I was a long time contributor to Herb Caen's column in the San Francisco Chronicle, as was my father before me."
He owns a Mercedes E320 Wagon and a Miata, which he shares with his wife, and enjoys cooking, jazz and classical music, walking and bicycling. The Alfa 8C2900B Le Mans coupe is also his favorite car, along with the 315/335 S Ferrari. Michael starting writing 30 years ago when he realized that things "didn't happen the way the articles described the event." He began to write himself and was determined that he would never publish anything that didn't involve some original research. "I'm proud to say that I've stuck to that commitment."
