The following photos were taken by Californian Wayne McAtee. The selection was taken at the Coronado Speed Festival in San Diego last month. Obviously interested in cars, Wayne owns a 1966 VW bus, a 1965 Mustang fastback, a 1971 MG Midget, a 1998 Ford Ranger 4X4, a 2001 Mustang, and a 2001 Chevy 1500 heavy duty truck. No Italian cars, but his photos indicate more than a passing acquaintance. "I'm hooked on motorsports of all types," he says. "If I could drive any car I wanted, it would be the 917-30 Porsche Can-Am car." Wayne plans to do more photography, and will hopefully cover more events for VT in the near future.
