VeloceToday Thanks Our Correspondents
June 11, 2002
As VeloceToday approaches our six month anniversary, it's high time we give credit to our correspondents. We'd like to thank them, and let our readers know a bit more about each one. So, for the next few editions of VeloceToday, we'll feature our correspondents, one at a time, in the On the Side section. Correspondents are what makes VeloceToday work; without them, VeloceToday would be an empty file.
So, in alphabetical order, a brief bio on the guys who bring you the best from all corners of the globe.
. . . . . .
Cristian Bertschi -- Argentina
In addition to being alphabetically first, Cris was one of our earliest contributors, consistently bringing us new and fresh stories and information from rarely heard-from Argentina. A twenty seven year-old Industrial Designer who lives in Buenos Aires with his wife Jimena, Cris is co-authoring the book, Alfa Romeo in Argentina (with Dr. Estanislao Iacona), and is the Editor of the Alfaclub Magazine Argentina. His work for VeloceToday includes the three-part bio of Pintacuda, the Peron/Wessells Alfa 3000CM, and an Osca 1500TN. He is an expert on a variety of Italian cars, including Ferrari. "I've been interested in cars since I was a child, but a visit to the 1986 Salon de l'Automobile de Geneve was the real starting point of a deep passion." Today, Cris enjoys photography, and is trying to figure out how to afford an Alfa 33 Stradale, one of his favorite cars. Look for Cris's article on the Fiat Balilla in a future issue of VeloceToday.
