After a great season and having already won the WRC World Driving Championship, Sebastian Loeb won the Rally Spain for the eighth time in a row.

Rally Wales, Great Britain, In English and Italian

Jari Matti Latvala was able to stop the continuous series of victories by Citroën and Championship leader Sebastien Loeb. This time Latvala did not err and, after having gained command of the Wales Rally GB in Power Stage (PS) 3, he maintained first to the finish ahead of Loeb and his DS3 WRC.

Rally Germany 2012 In English and Italian

Sebastian Loeb achieved his seventh win of the season in nine rallies. His victory in the ADAC Rally Deutschland gave Loeb a margin of more than 54 points ahead of Hirvonen and his Ford WRC.

As usual, Loeb set the pace in the early moments of the event, winning the best time in the Shakedown run on the morning of August 23. On the special stage, Loeb was 0.8 ” ahead of Latvala and his Ford Fiesta RS WRC. Following in formation were the other two Fords of Ostberg and Solberg, then the two Citroëns of Neuville and Hirvonen.

Rally New Zealand in English and Italian

Sebastien Loeb won the Brother Rally New Zealand and concluded the first half of the season with a distinct advantage over team-mate Hirvonen. With the win in New Zealand, Loeb took his third consecutive victory and was thus awarded even more valuable points in the standings. He can now begin to think more seriously about winning the Championship.

Rally Sweden 2012 In English and Italian

After a real thriller, Jari Matti Latvala and his Ford Fiesta WRC won the Swedish Rally, his first of the season. Latvala hit a rock during the special stages but managed to recover and beat his ex-teammate Mikko Hirvonen, now driving for Citroen.

The tenth round of the World Rally Championship 2011  held in Australia proved to be an exceptional event, a rally full of twists and turns. The suprising results reawakened interest in what looked to be season dominated by Citroen.

Rally Finland 2011 In English and Italian

Sebastien Loeb won the Rally of Finland, increasing his lead in the championship rally. The Citroen driver dominated the rally, remaining in command right from Shakedown, but also managed to resist the final challenge of the Ford WRC of Jari-Matti Latvala. With this victory, and with only five more events to be run, we can safely say that the World Rally Championship is being tinted in the red, white and blue of the French flag. Rally Jordan

Narrow victory in the desert for Citroën .

The past weekend the battle for the FIA World Rally Championship was fought in Jordan. The third running of the ‘Blue Riband Event in the Middle East’ was conducted over its usual itinerary. The service park overlooks the Dead Sea and the start was in the ancient city of Jerash, while the stages were in the Jordanian desert.

The opening two events of the WRC season provided extremes contrasts: after the snow and ice in Sweden, the FIA World Rally Championship traveled to hot and dusty Mexico for the Rally Guanajuato Mexico. It is the first of seven consecutive events on gravel. The first rally on asphalt will not take place until the end of August when the crews tackle Rally Germany.
