Tomorrow will be surgery #4. Toly continues to amaze with his strength of spirit and mind if not body. He has no memory of the past week for the most part but seems to know exactly how this tragedy happened. He survived by the grace of God. Good luck for a quick and painless recovery.
About 28 September last year I lost part of my calf and everything below to an infection. Not fun but things get better with time. There are many options to regain some mobility and even perhaps drive.
Hopefully you will be surrounded by supporting family and friends.
    Good luck!

    Hello, Tolly and his wife
Last June 14,2010 11:30 morning ,beautiful sunny day. 5 min away from my home, my car got broke down, and I pulled off the road as much as I can. I went out to direct the traffic with emergency light on my car. I called my wife to come to pick me up.
That was the last things I remember. When I woke up in 9 days . I flung my left leg amputated and right leg 10 surgery. A young girl age 17 , was driving car looking at smart phone testing n did not see me and ran into my car at 40 miles speed.
I do not have any memory what happened that morning.
I am in recovery at home. I stayed at Haborview hospital in Seattle for 2 1/2 months.
Many other injury on my back and head, but with Lord protection head injury and back injury are all healed now. But I have chronicle pains living with Oxcycodon, fighting to get off, but that is only thi gs works on nerve pain.
Here is my phone, 253-330-7977, if you want to talk to someone like you, welcome to call me.
