If you have managed to wade through the previous three reports from this years Bologna Auto e Moto d’Epoca show (well done) and were wondering ‘what, no Ferrari’s Lancia’s etc’ do not worry, there were plenty there. Here is my pick of the many gems on display. As I said before in part one, if you can make the show then you really must. It truly is an Italian car lovers paradise, and easy to get to as well. And if you can’t make it, we have given you the best we can do for those in absentia. Enjoy.

On the Classic Trader stand, listed as a 1938 Maserati 6CM N.6/27.
Centre stage in the 110th Anniversary of Maserati, the ‘Museo Nationale Dell Automobile’s’ 1954 250F as donated to the then Biscaretti museum by the factory in 1960. A quick internet dive seems to indicate that this is chassis 2505, a works car driven by Fangio, Alberto Ascari, Luigi Musso, Joakim Bonnier and Onofre Marimon.
From the Museo Nicolis Collection and forming part of the 110th Anniversary of Maserati display, 1972 Ghibli 4.7, had two owners prior to being acquired by the museum, and only 41,700 kms.
Again from the Museo Nicolis, 1947 A6 1500. The second example built and described as being unique, differing to the Geneva Motor Show prototype model (mainly headlights and the shape of the tail). Shown at the ‘Italian Bodywork Show’ at October 1947 Milan Triennale show.
The car was exported to Argentina in 1950 and then came back to Italy at the end of the 1970s where it was bought by Luciano Nicolis, who restored it and returned it to its original splendour. Extremely elegant colors: the champagne color creates a refined contrast with the vivid red of the side air vents.

On the Antique Classic & Historic Automobile Fellowship of Rotarians stand, a rather fetching 1967 4.0 Maserati Mistral, contrasts rather nicely with the Renault 4 behind.

The Gina Lollabridgida car was restored to the nines, with the addition of a Nardi kit. Beautiful car, among many other beauties. We looked at that Flavia by Zagato at Mitteleuropean for some time – it was quite stunning in person, odd paint notwithstanding. I believe it was a fairly low mileage car.
Excellent sampling of what was a nearly overwhelming display of Lancias!
