Hello,
regarding the Lancia Astura. On your photographs we see an Asture engine. But there’s never been produced an Astura withe a left hand steering wheel. I think this is a car build by a local blacksmith on a chassis he had on his yard.
Kind regards,
Jan

Jan, Thank you for your comment–
Unfortunately we don’t know much else about the car aside from the brief information provided by the owners.
Very possible that the chassis was as specially built as the body.

Hello Pete,
I was also in Cortina d’Ampezzo and saw the “Lancia”Astura. In my opinion ,same as Jan v. H. is this car a shame and unworthy for Lancia !
Than the Cisitalia !

Hi Pete,
Regarding the Lancia Astura Motto Barchetta 1939, I have a mysterious photo of the same type vehicle (I’ guess) taken in March 1988. I’ll send you this photo. I’ve no idea where it was taken, but somewhere in Japan, I think. I also have a same opinion as Jan Van Hoorick wrote.
Kind Regards,
Ken
