Richard Prince was at this year’s Le Mans and came back with some great images of the Ferraris and Lamborghinis in the GT class.

Risi Competizione, based at Houston Ferrari, pulled off a well-earned victory in the highly competitive GT2 class, and was followed by three other Ferrari 430GTs for a clean sweep.

In the GT1 class, a lone Lamborghini Murcielago kept on running but only completed 266 laps and was not classified. Aston Martin went on to win the GT1 class.

The overall win went to Audi Sport North America and second was the Total Team Peugeot.

For Mika Salo, the ex F1 driver, “GT2 is fun–especially when yo win!…and to have four Ferraris in the top six in class is impressive.”

This is truly a case where the pictures tell the story. Dynamic and exciting coverage. The Farnbacher Ferrari at night really grabbed me, too.
