Just a small annotation as the official auction-catalogue wasn’t very diligent on regard :
attentive followers might have already noticed, the Maserati MC 12 Corsa was publicly announced only in 2006 and the one presented here, sporting production number 004, was delivered only in spring 2007 to his lucky owner

Great photos and nice to see our old Volpini! I’ve never been able to find good info on that Moretti 750, does anyone know details or the owner?

I was there and it was a wonderfull event!
The Nurburgring is a fantastic place even if the new facilities including a never used roller coaster show how difficult it is to exploit even this world famous racetrack.
The track itself was awesome with many stands with great views. The (german speaking) speaker was humoristically enthusiastic he explaned among other things to the fans the working of the alternator (lichtmaschine). In depth!
Great cars besides the well known pre ’65 GT cars like the late ’70s and early ’80’s touring cars classes with cars the like of Porsche’s 935, Capri Turbo, BMW E21 Turbo’s and numerous BMW M1’s.
When compaired to the classic SPA event (6 heures) there is more to entertain you during the three days of racing. Top!

I was pleased to see the Alfasud Jolly Club rally car at the Coys auction. Perhaps this will move the ‘Sud, a fine piece of Italian engineering into the collector world.
