This is the sixth consecutive year Alessandro Gerelli has covered this event for VeloceToday, and each year he brings us cars rarely seen anywhere else in the world. Lancia Fulvia coupè HF 1600 (1972) was one of the many Monte Carlo Rallye cars seen at Automédon.

Automédon is held yearly in the Bourget exhibition center near Paris. The main theme of the show this year was the Monte Carlo Rallye and many winning cars of the past were shown and are below. Part 1 featured the French cars at the event; in this article I have included many of the interesting Italian cars found there.

Automedon Meeting and Exhibition, Paris

AUTOMEDON MEETING AND EXHIBITION (PARIS OCTOBER 18th-19th) In addition to the traditional Paris Salon, during the weekend of October 18th, the Automedon old car event was held in the Bourget exhibition center near Paris, with many owner clubs and many spare parts dealers present

But what was really impressive to me, is the huge and incredible number of old car owners coming to Bourget to visit the event and show their cars in the parking areas. You can find very rare and old cars, but mainly more production cars like Citroen, Renault and Peugeot of the 50s and 60s.

In the hall there was a very important and interesting show of D.B cars: D.B is a French make, the result from the meeting of Charles Deutsch and Rene Bonnet producing excellent small sport cars till the early 60s, based mainly on Panhard engines. Automedon is an event that takes place in Paris at Bourget exhibition center every year in October. It is a collector car and motorbike exhibition with many owner’s clubs, spare parts dealers, and booksellers. Of course most of the cars are French, but looking around one may find everything because collectors and enthusiasts come to visit the exhibition with their cars.
