Todd Morici and Peter Giddings were the first two drivers to be named “Grand Masters” in the Ferrari Historic Challenge, reflecting their multiple wins and championships. Shell Ferrari Historics at Mt. Tremblant

(Mont Tremblant, PQ, Canada, July 27) A small field and a wet race track don’t sound like the ingredients for a fun weekend, but Shell Historics drivers at Mont Tremblant faced just those conditions last weekend–and yet it was a really enjoyable event. The small field removed some of the usual pressures, and the weather allowed drivers more time to relax and talk with other drivers and enthusiasts, making for a low key, fun weekend.

(ELKHART LAKE, WI, June 30, 2009) Family vacations, other conflicts, and mechanical problems made for a small field at the Ferrari Shell Historics at Road America track last weekend, but the racing more than made up for the small grids.

Some think it is a baby BBLM, which makes sense, as it is built by the same company. The correct S/N is 001, as designated by Michelotto. There were only three built.”–Bob Benedict.

Shell Ferrari Historics at Mt. Tremblant

Mt. Tremblant, Canada, July 18-20th

The field for the Ferrari Shell Historic Challenge event last weekend may have been slightly smaller than usual, but fans were treated to four exciting races, with titans batting for the win in each. Le Circuit, the winding 2.65 mile track in the old Quebec ski country of Mont Tremblant, was an ideal setting for those duels.
