Probably most people reading this have never heard of Patrick Peter, but he is one of those race organizers who always comes up with some good ideas. He tried out one of them last weekend at his huge Dix Mille Tours historic meeting in the sunshine of Paul Ricard in the South of France.

I took myself off to the Paul Ricard circuit in the South of France last weekend for the round of the Blancpain Endurance Series which brought together an enormous 56 car entry of top quality GT cars. Le Castellet 2- 3 April- The weekend went very well for AF Corse and for the Prancing Horse in the opening round of the thirteenth Le Mans Series at the Paul Ricard HTTT circuit at Le Castellet, fulfilling the earlier promise of the new Ferrari 458GT2.
