Neste Oil Rally Finland 2012 in English and Italian

Sebastien Loeb won the Rally Finland, strengthening his lead in the championship while increasing his lead over his teammate Mikko Hirvonen. For Loeb, the Rally Finland was an exceptional race. Although not one of his favorite venues, he won the event twice in the past and this made it three. Doing the “hat trick” in Finland has been achieved previously only by Finnish drivers.

Rally Mexico 2012 In English and Italian

Sebastien Loeb has won the third round of the World Rally Championship. It was his sixth win in Mexico, and this year he confirmed his supremacy from the opening round.

Sebastien Loeb won his eighth consecutive World Rally Championship but failed to win the last even to the season. On the last day of the rally, in the lead and on his way to PS 19, he was involved in a head on collision with another vehicle; no one was hurt but the damage to the Citroen’s radiator effectively ended his rally. The last rally of the year, held in Wales, was full of surprises.

By winning the penultimate round of the the WRC in Catalunya, Spain, Sebastien Loeb gave Citroen the coveted Manufacturer’s Championship. The French driver is now very close to obtaining his eighth consecutive driver’s championship. Mikko Hirvonen, right behind Loeb in the standings, placed second with the help of team mate Jari-Matti Latvala, who obeyed the orders of his team manager Malcolm Wilson.

Sebastien Loeb ha vinto alla grande il Rally di Catalunya penultimo appuntamento del Mondiale, e ha regalato alla Citroen il titolo costruttori, quando manca ancora l’ultimo evento del campionato in Galles. Il pilota Francese si è impegnato al massimo fin dai primi metri del rally, e si avvicina sempre di più al suo ottavo titolo consecutivo.
Mikko Hirvonen, suo diretto avversario è riuscito a salire sul secondo gradino del podio, grazie all’aiuto del compagno di squadra Jari-Matti Latvala, che ha obbedito agli ordini del suo team manager Malcolm Wilson.

Sebastien Loeb won the Rally of Finland, increasing his lead in the championship rally. The Citroen driver dominated the rally, remaining in command right from Shakedown, but also managed to resist the final challenge of the Ford WRC of Jari-Matti Latvala. With this victory, and with only five more events to be run, we can safely say that the World Rally Championship is being tinted in the red, white and blue of the French flag. Narrow victory in the desert for Citroën .

The past weekend the battle for the FIA World Rally Championship was fought in Jordan. The third running of the ‘Blue Riband Event in the Middle East’ was conducted over its usual itinerary. The service park overlooks the Dead Sea and the start was in the ancient city of Jerash, while the stages were in the Jordanian desert.
