Who is Richard Bartholomew?

Southern California photographer, painter, writer and member of the Motor Press Guild, Bartholomew has covered the California car scene for a variety of automotive websites over the past 20 years. His photoshopped images of collector’s cars have caused a lot of comment, but he says the images are just doodles, and never meant to impress anyone, much like the drawings we all once did on school notebooks. “I like showing my work to people who get it. They see was could have been or would never be.”

At Facebook my car page is:

‘ Richard Bartholomew Cars ’

And this should be the generic link to my youtube channel

Having been a “long roof” guy forever, I would like the Nash Healy and/or the Tucker shipped to my garage asap. Where should I send the check?

The Delahayes are “believable”, in fact I LOVE the tan & brown one listed first. The Tucker and Facel Vega look like they should be in the funeral business. I MAY be mistaken, but I BELIEVE GM did a one-off Corvette wagon as a show car, using the name “Nomad.”

Really fun, the ISO is stunning, the Vette not. Thanks

Ya know, the Corvette and the Traction Avant just might work. I can see that Corvette as part of California surfer culture in the 1960s.
