Who is Richard Bartholomew?

Southern California photographer, painter, writer and member of the Motor Press Guild, Bartholomew has covered the California car scene for a variety of automotive websites over the past 20 years. His photoshopped images of collector’s cars have caused a lot of comment, but he says the images are just doodles, and never meant to impress anyone, much like the drawings we all once did on school notebooks. “I like showing my work to people who get it. They see was could have been or would never be.”

At Facebook my car page is:

‘ Richard Bartholomew Cars ’

And this should be the generic link to my youtube channel

The Facel Vega works the best. They should have built one…

The Lancia Beta for me, I love that star streak elongated upward back end.

I’ve always preferred Bill Boddy’s Olde English ‘shooting brake’. I saw a genuine Porsche shooting brake, based on one of their four-door sedans (saloons), on the lot at Mark Motors only last week
