The Ford Shelby Mustang GT350 was honored for its 50th anniversary at the Rolex Motorsports Reunion this year. After a practice session at Laguna Seca in the morning, a delegation of Mustangs came to The Quail to mark that anniversary.

Presented by Art Zafiropoulo, this Ferrari is the 342 America built for King Leopold of Belgium in 1952. Equipped with a detuned 4.5-litre F1 engine, it features many specific details ordered by its first owner as an altimeter or an extended fuel cell with racing filler cap.

This Cisitalia-Abarth 204-A is considered to be the last Cisitalia built and also the last car raced by Tazio Nuvolari in the 1950 Targa Florio and the 1950 Palermo Monte-Pellegrino hillclimb.

The little 1963 Rene Bonnet Djet has raced in period at Spa-Francorchamps, Zolder, Zandvoort and Nürburgring as in the Liège-Rome-Liège rally. Since in the US, it is often seen racing during the Monterey Motorsports Reunion at Laguna Seca.

This ASA 1000 GT was a factory race prepared car for the 1965 Targa Florio but it was not entered into the race.

After this car finished fifth overall at the 1971 24 hours of Le Mans, driven by Chinetti Jr and Bob Grossman, the Ferrari factory decided to produce a series of 15 purpose built competition Daytonas over a span of three years.

This 1965 Ghia-De Tomaso P70 won the Post War Racing class. It started as a joint venture between Carroll Shelby, Peter Brock and de Tomaso who built the chassis. Fantuzzi made the body and a 7 liter Ford was planned to power the car but it never happened. Finally, a 5 liter engine was installed.
