Some old, mostly new showcars from Alessandro's Camera
Italian coachbuilders are always present at Geneva with their proposal: today, they seem rather provocative, but if we think to the prototypes of few years ago, it could well be that our roads will be full of production cars originated by these wonderful experimental solutions.
Together with the well-known names like Bertone, Zagato, Italdesign (Giugiaro), I have seen also new names like Stola and IED.
Zagato has presented a wonderful clean prototype of Diatto, a car designed by Alfieri Maserati in the mid 1920s.
I have added to this section also some old cars, which I have discovered walking around the exhibitions and the wonderful comparison between the two dreams of Bugatti; the gracious and beautiful Type 55, and for today’s dreamer, the Bugatti Veyron with 1001 bhp. Is there anybody who thinks this is not enough for our highways?
