Photos by Hugues Vanhoolandt and Jonathan Sharp
As was the case with Sunday’s Windsor Castle Concours, the previous Friday’s event at the Syon House was also attended by both Hugues Vanhoolandt and Jonathan Sharp. In this report we lead off with Vanhoolandts’s work. Saturday, Sharp emailed and sent his initial impression of the event:
Salon Prive is held at the Duke of Northumberland’s London pad Syon Park, a lovely spot by the Thames but right on the flight path of Heathrow airport. The entry list showed the Lamborghini Flying Star 2 as being in attendance plus Jay Kay’s Vignale Ferrari 330 shooting break which I saw at last years Kop Hill Hill climb event. Indeed they were both there and both lovely. Beautiful weather, nice time.

I believe you will find that Chris Evans no longer owns the 250 California Spider. I understand he sold it in order to part finance his purchase of the 250 GTO. I think it is widely known that he has since sold the GTO as well.
Nice to see my former Pegaso getting some sun.
