A press release from the organizers of this year’s Retromobile recently jogged my memory. Last year, we had Citroën shots from last year’s Goodwood Festival of Speed which were not used in VeloceToday. It was the 70th anniversary of the Citroën 2CV, and to celebrate, one of the classes at the Cartier Style et Luxe Concours was dedicated to that Gallic charmer.
P-Hershey Squirts? B-We call this the “Hershey Highway.” Where else would you find something like this?

Citroën is turning 100 this year and, to celebrate this unique occasion, the French manufacturer organized a huge gathering, called the ‘Rassemblement du Siècle’ (or Gathering of the Century), at La Ferté-Vidame, which is situated 125 kilometers west of Paris. The event was held from July 19 to July 21, 2019.

Automedon is an event that takes place in Paris at Bourget exhibition center every year in October. It is a collector car and motorbike exhibition with many owner’s clubs, spare parts dealers, and booksellers. Of course most of the cars are French, but looking around one may find everything because collectors and enthusiasts come to visit the exhibition with their cars.
