Every spring, Lake Como and the Grand Hotel Villa d’Este form a unique backdrop to the most beautiful automobiles taking part in the Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
This year was no exception, despite autumn-like weather instead of pleasant temperatures usually experienced at this period.

Alfa Romeo, Giulia 1600 TZ2, Coupé, Pininfarina, 1965, Shiro Kosaka (J) Received Mention of Honor in Class H, Trofeo FIVA, for the best preserved car by the Jury and the Trofeo Auto & Design for the most exciting design by the Jury.
Magnificent Lancia Aurelia B52 of 1952 with a coupe body by Vignale (design by Michelotti): one of the three built.

The traditional Concorso d’Eleganza held at Villa d’Este in Cernobbio on the lake of Como (Italy), has taken the opportunity this year to celebrate a few anniversaries; 80 years of the first Concorso, 100 years of Bugatti, and 80 years of BMW, one of the sponsors of the event.
