Here’s one from Yugoslavia. I’m sure there is a story behind it but we’ll have to wait for that. Hopefully our readers can help Aleksandar with some information about his Fiat. His email is aleksandarv@ptt.yu.
Hello Pete,
My car is 1949. Fiat 1100B cabriolet Stabilimenti Farina, aluminum body, chassis No. 319 237. It is for restoration. Some advice and links about aluminum body restoration will be useful, too. To the best of my knowledge, the car is similar to the 1947 Cisitalia 202 Pinin Farina and 1949 Simca 8 Sport. I should be grateful if you would send me all information you may have about this car. Herewith I enclosed photo of my car.
Best regards,
Aleksandar Vidojkovic, Knjazevac, Yugoslavia

What can you tell me about a Siata Spring. I don’t know the year -- just has a tag on it saying Siata Spring.
Thank you.

Lauretta,
Thanks for your interest in VeloceToday. Glad to help answer your question. The Siata Spring was a retro-styled Siata built from 1967 to 1970. It was based on the Fiat 850, with a small rear engine. It was cute but slow. About 3500 were produced, and unknown number was imported to the U.S. Unless you are mechanically gifted with deep pockets and a lot of patience, don't be tempted though.

Mr. Vack,
Thank you for replying to me. I have the car and it is complete except it needs a tail light and the clutch is bad. Was wondering if you might give me an idea of the value of it? I don't however have a title to it as it was lost in a house fire. I truly appreciate any help you can give me, or if you know someone that might be interested in buying it.
Thanks again,
Lauretta
