Concorso Italiano Returns August 15th with duPont REGISTRY Partnership, Duetto Day, Ducati Centennial, and Italian Automotive Excellence
SEASIDE, Calif. — The 41st annual Concorso Italiano returns to Bayonet Black Horse Golf Course on Saturday, August 15, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., bringing together collectors, enthusiasts, industry leaders, and families for Monterey Car Week’s premier celebrations of Italian automotive excellence.
Set against sweeping views of Monterey Bay, guests will experience an unforgettable day inspired by La Dolce Vita, featuring extraordinary automobiles, authentic Italian cuisine, live music, fashion, art, and exclusive hospitality.

duPont REGISTRY Joins as Exclusive Chairman’s Club Partner
Concorso Italiano is proud to welcome duPont REGISTRY as the exclusive partner of the event’s Chairman’s Club, its premier hospitality experience. Celebrating 41 years alongside Concorso Italiano, duPont REGISTRY will bring together collectors, industry leaders, and automotive enthusiasts through an elevated hospitality experience, curated vehicle display, and engaging event programming.
The Chairman’s Club will feature private indoor and outdoor seating, premier stage views, authentic Italian cuisine, a premium hosted bar, and the signature duPont Drop cocktail—a nod to duPont REGISTRY Live’s exclusive duPont Drops, its curated online auction events featuring exceptional collector vehicles.
Charles Bradley, Editor-in-Chief of duPont REGISTRY, will join Tom McDowell, Jack Wadsworth, and Tanya Kosta as a judge for this year’s Chairman’s Award, selected from Concorso Italiano’s “Best in Show” winners over the years.
Bradley will also lead stage conversations with automotive leaders, including Eric Curran, President of Sales of duPont REGISTRY.

Distinguished Honors
Concorso Italiano will present two of its highest honors during the event.
Donald Osborne will receive the La Bella Macchina Award, recognizing individuals whose expertise, leadership, and lifelong passion have enriched the automotive community. The award will be presented by former Chairman and award recipient, Tom McDowell and former recipient, Monica Zanetti, affectionately known as “Lady F40,” was the first woman to serve as a mechanic and coachbuilder for Ferrari.
Adolfo Orsi will receive the Doug Magnon Award, honoring those who embody Doug Magnon’s legacy by generously sharing their knowledge, mentoring new enthusiasts, and preserving Italian automotive heritage. The award will be presented by Andrea Soriani, General Manager of Maserati North America. Ivan Ruiz, a former winner of the Doug Magnon award, will also join as a guest judge.
Also returning is legendary Lamborghini Chief Test Driver, Valentino Balboni, who will present his namesake award. Created by Italian artist Donato Donno and arriving from Italy, this year’s handcrafted trophy celebrates the 60th anniversary of the Lamborghini Miura.
Honoring Italian Heritage
Massimo Carnelos, Consul General of Italy in San Francisco, and Davide Corriero, Deputy Consul General of Italy in San Francisco, will join Concorso Italiano in celebrating the enduring legacy of Italian culture and automotive excellence. Their participation, together with the official patronage of the Automotoclub Storico Italiano (ASI) and remarks from ASI and FIVA President Alberto Scuro, underscores Concorso Italiano’s role as a bridge between Italy’s automotive heritage and the international collector community. They will parade to MMF together with Raffaello Porro in his role of ambassador for both events according to their partnership. Also joining will be Cesare Gasparri Zezza, great-grandson of Vincenzo Florio, to celebrate 100 years of Route 66 with a Maserati GranCabrio Trofeo MY26 in an ideal marriage between Italian granturismo and the American myth of travel.
Event Highlights
60 Years of the Alfa Romeo Spider “Duetto” — Nearly 50 Duettos will gather as Concorso Italiano becomes the first official stop of “Duetto Day,” presented with Pininfarina and MMF. Anchorwoman Savina Confaloni will introduce Pininfarina CEO Paolo Dellachà and Maria Laura Luraghi, granddaughter of Giuseppe Luraghi, to present the Concorso Italiano Duetto Award, a custom car cover provided by Goodwool.
Featured Marque: Ducati — Concorso Italiano celebrates 100 years of Ducati, honoring a century of Italian engineering, racing, and design.
Alfa Romeo will celebrate Italian culture and its legendary performance heritage at this year’s event with a display featuring the 2026 Alfa Romeo Giulia sedan, Stelvio SUV, and Tonale compact SUV. Together, the models showcase the brand’s unmistakable Italian design, engaging driving dynamics, and more than a century of racing-inspired innovation.
FIAT Topolino is now available in the US and will be joining us.
Totem Automobili will display for its public unveiling the new Totem GT Super “Litorale Brado.”
Revs Institute — The internationally respected museum and archive will present a special heritage exhibit.
REGARD Magazine Experience — the activation will include complimentary racing simulators, specialty vehicle displays, and a live interview lounge featuring designers, collectors, race drivers, and automotive leaders.
Supporting the Next Generation and Local Community — Concorso Italiano proudly supports All-In Monterey, the Mid-Coast Fire Brigade, whose fire engine will be on display throughout the weekend, as well as the Piston Foundation who will be visiting Monterey Car Week for the first time. Piston Foundation Scholars will present the inaugural Piston Foundation Next Generation Award to a car chosen by the scholars.
