Dario Franchitti in the Lotus 38, as driven to victory by Jim Clark at the 1965 Indy 500. The car is as it finished the race; the only thing that has been changed is the oil, a phial of which was given to Dario by the Ford Motor Company just before the event. Dario is a huge fan of Jim Clark; I think it shows in his face.

Kenny Brack asks ‘I know this thing has a Pratt and Whitney Helicopter engine but it’s not going to go straight up is it?’ This is the 1968 STP Lotus 56 Gas Turbine, tested by Jim Clark in period but alas not driven by him in that year’s Indy 500.

Sir Jackie Stewart and Emanuele Pirro meet prior to the Jim Clark tribute.

Something has amused David Richards (Aston Martin) and Christian Horner.

Jean Alesi adds his signature to what is going to be a pretty valuable helmet.

Derek Bell is interviewed by BBC Radio 2 presenter and car nut Chris Evans.

A delighted Nicolas Minassian who shared a 1963 4.7 AC Cobra with Ludovic Caron in the RAC TT Celebration race on Sunday.

Jochen Mass meets some old friends Haural and Lardy (correct spelling). Both are great supporters of the Revival meeting.

Derek Bell and Tom Kristensen.

Italians do not play much cricket! Emanuele Pirro has a bit of practice in the nets prior to the traditional cricket match on Thursday afternoon.

Clive Chapman gets ready to have a go in his father's Lotus 49.

Rowan Atkinson played the part of Black Adder on the BBC and that awful Mr. Bean character. Looking at his face I do not think he needs to act too much. He is a 100% gold-plated car guy. He had just got his McLaren back from the factory following his crash in it.

Nice Photos – but why not spell Tom Kristensen’s name correctly?

    Niels,

Thanks for the catch, and it is now corrected.
