The main theme for the 2026 Goodwood Revival was ‘La Dolce Vita,’ celebrating 100 years since the founding of Maserati’s motorsport division with a daily track parade of the company’s racing cars. In addition, the Lavant Cup on the Saturday featured a grid made up solely of 1950s Maserati and Ferrari sports cars.
The Revival also celebrated 80 years of the Vespa scooter with each days proceedings starting with a mass parade of approximately 200 Vespa’s of various ages and sizes. Jack Brabham was celebrated with 2026 marking sixty years since Jack won his third World championship in car bearing his own name. The late Barry Sheene was again celebrated, as was the 1966 Le Mans with the three podium winning GT40s taking to the track each day in the hands Andre Lotterer, Benoit Treluyer and Marcel Fassler on Friday, Jimmie Johnson, Helio Castroneves and Scott Dixon on Saturday, and Tom Kristenson, Derek Bell and Emanuele Pirro on the Sunday.
However, keeping with the La Dolce Vita theme, lets start with the Italian cars which featured on the track and I am sorry but as you would imagine there was rather a lot of them so this is Part 1 of 2.
